This course explores the relationship between architectural drawing methods and the 3d communication of fabrication and assemblage. Central to this investigation is understanding how drawing is evolving in relation to new technology. It began with sketching, then moved to paper and balsa wood model making, to digital fabrication, to collage and narrative, and finally, animation. In this project, I have achieved a strong sense of cohesiveness, the ability to self-critique and unleashed my creativity.

Pencil drawings to explore architectural precedents, eventually forming my own architectural style.

Vintage Polaroid collage to show the timeline of production of the Adrenaline factory.

"Let the festivities begin!"

This is an architectural rendering that depicts a whimsical, large-scale playground, with radiating light rays and small stars, creating an ethereal and dreamlike atmosphere.

"Escape the factory!"

This is a collage of architectural design and illustration, featuring a whimsical playground structure. It includes two contrasting figures: a small, calmly observant man and a larger, frightened man, symbolising different reactions to escape. The blend of technical drawing and storytelling hints at a narrative of escaping a monotonous or oppressive environment.

This portrays a whimsical, interconnected set of elevated platforms and walkways. Figures are depicted navigating these structures, with some appearing to float in mid-air and engaged in various activities. The overall aesthetic is both surreal and dreamlike, seamlessly blending architectural elements with a fantasy landscape. It evokes a conceptual architectural design that explores themes of connection, movement, and the notion of risk-taking.
